A new Surface device to be announced by the end of this year may be a Surface Book Back in May at an event hosted in New York City, Microsoft made the great and much-awaited announcement regarding the Surface Laptop together with Windows 10 S. Later during the same month, Microsoft also revealed the Surface Pro in Shanghai, becoming the first Surface device launched outside of the United States. The device that we might see announced in October might be a new iteration of the Surface Book. The current model of the Surface Book will celebrate its two-year-old anniversary next month and the “poor” device still uses Intel’s sixth-gen Skylake CPUs. Even if the device was refreshed somehow with a Performance Base model, the main PC has not changed at all and this is a shame. Maybe that’s what Microsoft is working on and it’s planning on announcing in October – a new iteration of the Surface Book. Refreshes for the Surface Studio, Surface Hub, and an LTE Surface Pro possibly in the works The company also promised an LTE version of the Surface Pro when the device was released earlier this year. So, yes, you guessed it right, we might also see that one at the October event as well. Other possibilities include a refresh for the Surface Studio and another one targeted at the Surface Hub. Keep your fingers crossed for October 31! RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
