Device Companion Application is the app that comes with the first run holographic device. When you plug in the VR HMD, it will run automatically and you’ll be able to enjoy holographic experiences immediately. The app is available on Windows Holographic, PC, and mobile devices running Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. The app’s approximate download size is between 1.27MB and 1.83MB and the only language supported is English. You can get the app while you are signed in to your Microsoft account and install it on your favorite device running Windows 10.
Acer Windows Mixed Reality HMD DCA
The Acer Windows Mixed Reality HMD DCA is a companion app for the Acer Windows Mixed Reality Head-Mounted Display. The app is available for Windows 10 PCs. The app’s approximated download size is between 2.11MB and 2.76MB and the only language supported is English. You can get the app while you are signed in to your Microsoft account and install it on your device running Windows 10.
Microsoft’s mixed reality controllers
Microsoft has been intensively investing in segmented/virtual/mixed reality headsets for both Windows 10 systems and, more recently, for their Xbox One console. The company promised to deliver a new mixed reality experience for everyone at affordable prices, and developed controllers as high-quality and comfortable as possible to create input devices with the same ease of setup and portability as the headsets.
