Azure Dedicated Host helps with regulatory requirements

It seems like the big M is continuing the trend with the introduction of Azure Dedicated Host: Azure Dedicated Hosts can help organizations in regards to physical security and data integrity through the ability to place Azure VMs on a specific and dedicated physical server.  Furthermore, you’ll get control over the hardware infrastructure, processor brand and capabilities, number of cores, and the size and type of the deployed Azure Virtual Machines.

Microsoft’s new service focuses on reducing costs

By offering Azure Hybrid Benefit for Windows Server and SQL Server on Azure Dedicated Hosts, it solidifies the service as the most cost-effective dedicated cloud service for Microsoft workloads. We have to mention that you can use existing SUSE or RedHat Linux licenses with Azure Dedicated Hosts, further saving costs. With the new introduction of Azure Dedicated Hosts, the outsourcing terms for Microsoft on-premises licenses will also be updated. If you want to get your hands on the service, you can deploy Azure Dedicated Hosts with an ARM template or using CLI, PowerShell, and the Azure portal.
