The Start menu feature in Windows 10 is pretty complete, having a lot of options that both desktop and touch users might find useful. However, each has its own taste and sometimes that doesn’t mean having to like everything new that comes out of Redmond.
Start10 lets you use the Windows 7 Start Menu in Windows 10
Stardock has developed the Start10 tool which bring a Windows 7-style menu to your Windows 10 machine. The 30-day trial version of the software brings you the following:

If you choose to go premium, this will set you back $5, and you get all the same features, but obviously for more than just a month. Furthermore, Start10 can also display the menu in a Modern or Windows 10 style, if you choose so.
You can set a a custom Start button, apply textures to the menu and taskbar, set icon and tile sizes, transparency, and much more. What’s particularly nice is that you can still make use of Cortana whenever you want. The latest version of the tool also added light theme support.

And if you feel like you want to switch to Windows 10’s default start menu, you can easily do so by pressing the right Windows key or Ctrl+clicking the Start button.
