These refurbished devices still get a one-year hardware warranty, which means that if something goes wrong and their system is damaged, Microsoft will take care of necessary repairs. For now, the refurbished base model of the Surface Pro 4 with 128GB of storage and an Intel Core m3 processor backed by 4GB of RAM is sold for $764, while the refurbished Surface Book with 128GB of storage and an Intel Core i5 processor backed by 8GB RAM costs $1,274. Compared to the original price, this is a 15% discount. The Surface Pro 4 is one of the most popular convertible tablets, bundled a Surface Pen which can be used to take notes or to draw directly on the 12.3-inch PixelSense touchscreen display with a resolution of 2736×1824 pixels at 267ppi. By attaching a Type Cover ($129.99), you’ll transform it into a laptop with the help of Windows 10’s Continuum feature. The Surface Book is actually a 2-in-1 PC with a detachable keyboard that contains a second battery, additional ports, and an optional GPU.
