Christmas Food for Windows 10, Windows 8
As mentioned earlier, this app is a perfect resource for those who want to create incredible dishes and drinks for their Christmas dinner. The app is very simple to use, and uses the already familiar Modern UI style interface, with a menu extending to the right of the screen and the information grouped in categories.
Also, the different recipes can be sorted by a number of filters (accessible by right clicking in the app or by the filters button in the upper right corner of the app), including ingredients, cooking type, difficulty and many others. Once you’ve found a recipe that you wish to make, you can then watch a video tutorial and read the entire cooking process and of course, the list of ingredients which is shown under the video.
I would have liked to see better quality videos that explain the cooking process, but sadly most of them have poor quality that cannot be changed. Nevertheless, they are still very good and explain the process very well, so if you don’t mind it, you can learn quite a bit from them.
Unfortunately, the app has problems when searching for recipes, there is no in-app search bar but when you click on the “Search” button it opens the Charms bar search, and some times, when you have entered a word and hit “search”, the app creases immediately (although not all the time). I hope the developers will sort out this problem in future updates, but even still with this drawback, the app performs pretty good and it represents a very good resource. So, this Christmas, you have at your disposal one of the best apps for creating sweets and drinks. Be sure to install it and see for yourself how great the app can be and how many awesome recipes you can make with it!
