Cortana is the engine responsible for syncing notifications. Thanks to this feature, you will always be kept up-to-date with your messages, social media, and alerts: If you’re using an Android phone, you’ll need Cortana version 1.7.1 or higher to activate this feature. Some actions, such as replying from PC to Windows 10 Mobile messages, are either partly functional or currently unavailable. More options will be added in future build releases. For the time being, you cannot mute the forwarded Windows 10 Mobile notifications per app, but Microsoft promises to add this option soon. If you want to disable phone notifications, you can go to Cortana settings and toggle “Send notifications between devices”. The option to receive Android notifications on your Windows 10 PC was first introduced at Build 2016 in April. Two months later, Microsoft kept its promise and rolled out the feature to Fast Ring Insiders. Cortana is one of the apps Microsoft has been very generous with. The build before brought Cortana notifications in the Action Center on Windows 10 Mobile and new Cortana languages: Spanish (Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil) and French (Canada). Have you tested out the new notification syncing feature between phones and PCs? Is it working smoothly for you? RELATED STORIES YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT:
