Don’t forget to back up your system

Unfortunately, the history of Windows 10 cumulative updates is not that bright. Most of the times, these updates are nothing more than a headache for Windows 10 users and IT Admins. They often trigger major issues including download stalls and slow installation issues. Most importantly, there are times when the updates fail to install on your systems. Windows 10 May 2019 Update brought a defer update feature that allows you to delay the installation for some time. You can use this feature to wait until all the major update issues have been fixed. However, in case you decide to go ahead with the installation, a complete backup of your system is highly recommended. Remember, you can always use the backup to rollback to a stable version if anything goes wrong.
