How to Disable Touchscreen in Windows 10

Windows 10, like Windows 8, was designed to be one operating system for variety of devices, ranging from your desktop computer or laptop to your tablet or smartphone, so it’s not unusual to see support for touchscreen functionality. If you don’t use touchscreen features on your laptop or monitor, or if you don’t want to click something if you accidentally touch your screen, today we have a simple way for you to disable touch screen in Windows 10. Here’s what you need to do to disable touch from Device Manager. That’s it, your touchscreen is now disabled. If you decide that you want to use your touchscreen again, just repeat all the steps, but when you right click HID-compliant touch screen choose Enable this time. As you can see, disabling touchscreen functionality is rather simple in Windows 10. It weird to see that Microsoft didn’t made this option more accessible, for example via the Settings menu, and sadly, this is the only way as far as we know to disable touch functionality in Windows 10.
