This patch came with numerous security updates and fixes to address some new security flaws. Microsoft no longer releases security patches to Windows 10 version 1709. The tech giant ended official support for Windows 10 v1709 IoT Core, Workstation, Home and Pro versions in April. Enterprise, loT, and Education edition users still enjoy updates for an extended period of 12 months. It is therefore recommended that users upgrade their PCs ASAP. That is the only way users can continue to receive the latest security and feature updates on their machines.

The HTTP Strict Transport Security Top Level Domains for Microsoft Edge and IE welcomed the addition of “uk.gov” in the latest release.
KB4499179 known issues
Surprisingly, Microsoft acknowledged only one known issue in KB4499179. This issue is related to operations performed on files or folders that are on CSV. Microsoft recommended its users to try one of the following workarounds.
Perform the operation from a process that has administrator privilege. Perform the operation from a node that doesn’t have CSV ownership.
