Solution 1 – Update your drivers

Solution 2 – Reinstall Yahoo Messenger

Also, you can try and reinstall the software, as well. This is one of the quickest ways to fix YM problems. If all this is good, then you need to try and start the program in Administrator mode. Right click on the .exe file, then select Properties > Compatibility > Change settings for all users, then add a checkbox to run this program as administrator and then click Apply.

Solution 3 – Install an old YM version

Other users affected by this problem have been reporting that they managed to solve it by installing an older version of Yahoo messenger. You can also try refreshing your Windows 10, but make sure that you back up everything up before you proceed. For the time being, this is all that we know regarding this problem.
