Remember that, unlike Patch Tuesday updates, today’s files are optional. So your PC will not automatically get them unless you install them through one of the methods available for Windows 10 users. The quickest way to get the CU is via the Windows Update channel, a feature that is built into Windows 10. Simply locate Settings, Update & Security, and then Windows Update. You could also go to the Microsoft Update Catalog to manually download the CU. Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) is the other available channel.

Highlights of the update

Apart from bug fixes, KB4541335 has a couple of enhancements for your OS. If the update works as expected, you will no longer experience difficulty printing to a document repository. It also resolves the failure of some Windows 10 applications to close. Some users experienced problems with the mute button when using the Your Phone app. The update fixes this issue. Other non-security patches are: Last week, Microsoft released KB4541331 to fix some of the above issues in Windows 10 version 1809, Windows Server 1809, and Windows Server 2019. None of these problems had anything to do with Windows 10 security.

No issues with the KB4541335

Microsoft said it is not aware of any glitches that the update may cause. As you may have experienced in the past, that assertion does not guarantee that the installation will always go as planned. The good news for you is that there are ways to avoid some of the problems that arise from installing erratic Windows 10 cumulative updates. For starters, be sure to have a restore point to which your system can revert in case of install complications.
