Windows 10 Game Mode is complicated to reach
This is a handy feature especially if you own a low-end computer. When the feature is enabled, it will relocate resources away from other functions and direct them to the game that you’re playing. The only downside is that the feature is kind of difficult to access because you need to navigate through a few Windows menus to get to it while the game is running. This can obviously be very annoying.
Change is coming
Things will soon change as Microsoft is working to make Game Mode much easier to access in the next upcoming update. The company will add a switch straight into the Windows 10 Game Bar that will allow players to flip it on with just a few key presses. The Game Bar will get more updates and improvements. For example, the mixer broadcast feature will offer you more audio option. A brand new setting option will let you choose to broadcast game-only audio or system-wide audio. The company also added a new Xbox Live Network Troubleshooting option to the Settings menu in Windows 10. This will help users track down all connectivity related issues and optimize the online multiplayer experience. Microsoft also said that this is just the beginning and other major updates will arrive later this year. Lots of new features will be introduced in the coming months to Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, mobile devices and Mixer, all of them targeted at making your gaming experiences more immersive and gamer-oriented.
