This time, players are complaining about an odd micro-transaction system in the game that requires 4000 credits for an elite pack. However, the worst part is that players cannot control what’s in packages, so they might end up with common items even though they paid a lot for it. Here’s what one of the players said on Gears of War 4’s forums: “Why are the gear packs so expensive? 4000 credits for an elite pack? seriously? thats ridiculous. I average around 15 to 25 credits per game. thats about 200 games to get just one elite pack. why is everyone okay with that? Coalition PLEASE adjust this to make it more fair, i know the $100 i spent on this game wasn’t enough for you and you want more, but i really dont want to spend more money on this game just to be able to get some skins. “ Angering gamers even further is their inability unable to earn rare items by playing. Instead, they earn in-game cash to spend on packages. So basically, the only way to get rare skins is through ‘the lottery of packages’. Although characters and skins are just cosmetics that don’t affect player performance in any way, it would be fair towards players if they’re able to choose which item they want to buy with their earned credit.
