According to Albacore’s Twitter report, the feature is currently holed up in the new preview model of Windows 10. However, it can be activated using third-party apps.
Conversational technology is the key
With a casual UI that rather supports typing, Cortana offers a much similar experience for those using Android or iOS. It may perhaps adopt the features of its AI conversational technology introduced at Build 2019 by Microsoft. This will make conversing with Cortana more natural and get engaged in complete conversations. Users will be able to chat with Cortana in the future and also ask it to do other tasks via voice or text. For instance, users can ask it to check the weather, add calendar events, etc. Not quite satisfied with Cortana? Here are some great virtual assistant alternatives for 2019. Microsoft has been playing with the idea of the new AI-powered Cortana for Windows 10 for quite some time now. The idea of its makeover was already in the pipelines, which is eventually about to see the light of the day. With an all-new focus declared at the Build, there are indeed a lot many striking features to be included in Cortana. The new Cortana is a beta version, however, it’s not yet ready for testing. And, that’s only because Microsoft hasn’t yet launched the new UI with no official reports on the beta testing. With the Windows 10 20H1 to be launched in the spring of 2020, it could possibly ship around that time. Check out these Cortana-related posts:
