The developer of the game, 343 Industries, said the release of Forge tools is just the latest push to get Halo 5 to play well with Windows 10. Many believed that meant a full-fledged Halo 5: Guardians game on the platform, but that is not happening — and probably not for a very long time. PC gamers have long wanted Microsoft to release Halo games on their preferred platform of choice but the company hasn’t done so due to the company’s high success with its console hardware, especially the Xbox 360. We do believe a Halo game will hit Windows 10 in the future seeing as several top Xbox games have been released on the platform over the past year. The most notable right now is Quantum Break and Gears of War: Ultimate. Another interesting Microsoft-made game, Sea of Thieves, is also set to launch on Windows 10 when it is released before the end of 2016. It should also be noted that Halo Wars: 2 is set to release this fall. It’s a real-time strategy game, and these type of titles shine on the PC platform so there’s a good chance the Windows Store could have a spot saved for it. RELATED STORIES YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT:
