Intel RST driver issues still affects many Windows 10 users
The issue is known for some time, but Microsoft is working on a solution and better described the bug in a recent report: The main cause of the problem is an incompatibility with Intel Rapid Storage drivers versions between 15.1.0.1002 and 15.5.2.1053 and Windows 10 v1903. As a result, PCs with the affected drivers can’t update to v1903. All the Versions 15.5.2.1054 or later work as expected.
Microsoft might remove the Windows 10 v1903 upgrade block soon
Microsoft promises that a resolution will be available later this month. In the meantime, to avoid the bug you’ll have to update your Intel® RST drivers for your device to version 15.5.2.1054 or later.
