In this guide, we’ll list some of the most common ones and how you can fix them.

KB4482887 reported bugs

1. Internet Explorer 11 issues

The first major (and already acknowledged by Microsoft) issue that you’ll encounter after getting the latest update for your Windows is in regards with Internet Explorer 11. If you share your user account for a Windows Server endpoint with other people and there are multiple login sessions at the same time on that machine, Internet Explorer will crash. What does that mean? That means that your cached images and files might not be stored, your keyboard might not properly respond to shortcuts, you might encounter browsing slowdowns and/ or webpages loading with errors. Also, you may notice issues with the login prompts on different webpages and downloading issues. The workaround for this issue is, of course, avoiding using a single user account. You can create multiple accounts for that each user can login with his own credentials on the Windows Server machine.

2. Error code 1309

The error 1309 during the installation or removal of multiple MSI/MSP files is also an issue that you might encounter after getting the latest updates, Unfortunately, for this error there is no official workaround, but a permanent fix will be found in the next future.

3. Mouse and graphics issues in games

Also, the users who got the update might notice issues with the mouse and the graphics while playing particular games, like Destiny 2. Again, there is no workaround for this issue, but you can temporarily remove the KB4482887 and enjoy your game until a permanent fix will be found. UPDATE: Microsoft fixed these gaming issues with cumulative update KB4489899.
