Microsoft recently confirmed the fact that Windows 10 cumulative update KB4497936 is triggering issues with Windows Sandbox. The company says that Slow, Fast and Release Preview ring Insiders may experience Windows Sandbox launching issues. Microsoft listed the bug on its support page in the following manner: The acknowledgement was made right after many users started to report the issue online. This bug is only affecting Windows 10 May 2019 (version 1903). Therefore, if you are one of those who ran into a similar issue it is recommended that you can simply uninstall the update. The uninstall process will bring back Windows Sandbox. Microsoft didn’t suggest any workaround for the issue. However, the tech giant says that it is currently working to resolve the issue and promises to release a patch in late June.
