Organizations and end users will receive only update packages instead of individual updates and since this system hasn’t functioned very well on Windows 10, we’re pretty sure it will have some issues on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 as well. Like this, you can no longer block updates or uninstall them, meaning that you will most likely run into some issues that will force you to remove whole update packages because of compromised portion. Microsoft Download Center still hosting Windows Update downloads Microsoft claims that security-only updates will be available via WSUS and Microsoft Update Catalog. However, it seems that downloads are still available on Microsoft’s Download Center website also. If you check out one of the security bulletins, you will notice links leading to the location where you can download the KB3192391 update. In other words, users are still able to download security-only updates from Microsoft’s Download Center website. It’s not sure yet why Microsoft changed its mind, but we’re pretty sure that the company will explain itself sometime soon.
