You’ll need to be a Windows Insider if you want to download and install build 14295 on their computer, with the ISO file only working if you’re using a version of Windows 10 activated with a product key. (If you want to become Windows Insider, just go to this page for more instructions.) To install the latest build, download the ISO file from Microsoft’s website, put it on the USB flash drive, and perform a clean install. Don’t forget to make a backup of all your files because if the installation goes wrong, you can end up losing all your data and apps. Microsoft usually releases ISO files of its Preview builds when the build lands to Insiders in the Slow ring, which usually means the build performed well. Since we didn’t notice a single issue when installing build 14295 (unlike build 14291, which gave us headache), we can confirm that it’s a much more stable release. Some users don’t agree, though, as a lot of issues caused by the latest build have been reported. However, we assume that build 14295 won’t be the newest Windows 10 Preview build for a long time because we noticed Microsoft using build 14306 at the Build conference. Although the new build hasn’t officially been announced, we expect it to be released to Windows Insiders as soon as next week. Of course, as soon as Microsoft releases the new build to Windows 10 Preview, we’ll make sure to let you know. You can download the official Windows 10 Preview build 14295 from Microsoft’s site for free.
