Update KB404034450 comes with new patches and fixes minor bugs

Microsoft didn’t release a new build of Windows 10 to Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring for quite a while. This is why the company decided to release the cumulative update: to keep users updated with the latest security patches and apply some minor fixes. With the forthcoming release of a new Windows 10 Fall Creators Update build to the Slow Ring, Microsoft wants to stimulate the rollout process the company uses when major feature updates are being released to retail customers. Windows Insiders from the Slow Ring will get a new build of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update soon because the company is currently in the process of testing a brand new rollout for the Windows Insider program. This new update, which targets frameworks for Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring, will lead to new builds being released in various phases to Insiders. This is exactly what it does for regular Windows 10 feature updates as well. Windows Insiders from the Slow Ring have the option of either waiting for the update to arrive automatically on their PC or manually checking for updates to get the new build as soon as it’s released. The company doesn’t have any plans on bringing this new update system to Windows Insiders from the Fast Ring, and if this is the case, then things are assuring. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
