Highlights allows you create a highlight reel of your day with photos and videos. After you post a one, your friends will get the opportunity to react to it by using emoticons or by jumping into a conversation. Like this, you can now turn talk into action with group discussions, bots, and add-ins. New bots and add-ins will be added to the app to make your Skype experience more robust and richer. Many users criticized the new Highlights feature, suggesting that Microsoft’s engineers should have used their creativity instead of adding a series of features available on other social media apps. Skype users also say that not every communication app should be revamped to appeal to teenagers.
Skype availability
The new Skype version has been designed so that users enjoy easier everyday communication. You can now take the app anywhere on your favorite devices and now, smart speakers. The newest Skype began its roll out to mobile devices and will also come to desktops. It will first be available on Android devices and will be released gradually over the future weeks.
