First of all, you should know that the Surface Book 2 will not be very different from its predecessor, but it will receive some small refinements along with upgraded hardware. According to rumors, the Surface Book 2 will feature a Kaby Lake processor that will be introduced sometime later this year and there are high chances that Microsoft will try to release both the Surface Book 2 and Kaby Lake chips in the same period of time. If these rumors will turn to be true, the Surface Book 2 will surely come with a good amount of improvements that will be possible thanks to the new CPU, it will support 4K and 3D graphics, USB 3.1 and many more interesting features. Surface Book 2 to feature a redesigned hinge When it comes to the design of the Surface Book 2, it seems that it won’t change so much compared to its predecessor. However, it seems that this device will come with some improvements to the hinge. Microsoft has introduced the hinge back in October 2015 during a hardware event, but it seems that many people have criticized its design and considered it ugly, adding that it also allows dust to easily slip between the display and keyboard. The Redmond giant wants to solve this issue and this is the reason why it wants to come with a redesigned hinge that will eliminate the gap between the screen and the keyboard when the laptop is closed. We’re not sure if these rumors are true, as Microsoft hasn’t confirmed them, so we should take this with a grain of salt. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
