Microsoft is looking for a ‘Electrical Engineer DRAM Memory Lead’ capable of working on the existing Xbox technologies as well as on future Xbox design projects.
Microsoft is developing new memory solutions for the Xbox One
As far as the job tasks are concerned, Microsoft revealed that one of the main tasks involves integrating the right memory solutions into the console. This is not an easy task since there is a series of constraints such as power, cost, reliability, performance requirements that need to be taken into account. Other job tasks involve defining the system requirements for each memory technology, working within an internal team to thoroughly test the new technologies before integrating them into the final product, and collaborating with partner teams and external vendors to identify specific components and validate the chosen technology.
