The first set of rumors claim the software giant is moving to create a mobile SIM card designed for Windows 10 devices, but we’ve seen no indication the company wants to go in that direction. While that could change at a moment’s notice, until then we may very well talk about this new and interesting app known as Paid Wi-Fi and Mobile. The app can be found in the Windows 10 Insider builds 14328/14332. There’s also a new Network option in the Settings are that makes it possible for Windows 10 computer users to toggle Paid Wi-Fi and Mobile service. The whole thing seems to be linked to whatever Microsoft is working on that is concerned with wireless networking. Some of the decisions the software giant has taken came as a huge surprise. For example, the Skype Wi-Fi app and the Microsoft Wi-Fi app should have been the candidates but instead, the company went ahead with plans to create a separate app that comes preinstalled. How would Paid Wi-Fi and Mobile work? We have no idea, but we can give a wild guess and hope it turns out right. Here’s the thing, the Windows Store will become the center of all digital shopping on Windows 10 which means users of Paid Wi-Fi and Mobile may have no choice but to use the store in order to pay for data — not necessarily a bad thing.
