Azure Maps provides new spatial analytics for Azure IoT customers
With this new step, the tech giant aims to create a more connected environment and help Azure customers better understand the implementation of spatial analytics using Azure Maps: Azure Maps will provide geographic context for information based on IoT information. Furthermore, the Azure Event Grid will help customers manage and monitor movement of assets with notifications through email, text, or other communication methods.
The Location of Things adds a new dimension to Azure IoT
The Location of Things takes Azure IoT a step further, offering not only data, insights, and actions, but also locations where all these are needed. This leads to massive improvements in cost efficiency and time management, allowing customers to take informed decisions about where to deploy and where to withdraw resources. The Redmond giant is seeing location as a very important component to provide insight, as highlighted in the announcement: To learn more about how to implement IoT spatial analytics using Azure Maps, check out Microsoft’s official guide.
