New Excel charts – This update brings six new charts to Excel, including Waterfall, Histogram, Poreto, Box and Whisker, Treemap, and Sunburst Real-time typing in Word – From now on, you’ll be able to see what other people working on the project do. You’ll be able to track what and where other users who have access to the document are typing, editing, and adding, in real time. If you want to try this cooperative way of work, you need to save your document to OneDrive for Business and share the content with your colleagues. Smart lookup option for Excel and PowerPoint – Smart lookup is powered by Bing, and it adds information about selected word or phrase from the web into Excel or PowerPoint. It allows you to explore word definitions without leaving your project. All you need to do is to right-click on any word or phrase and choose ‘smart lookup,’ and you’ll get the definition of that word right into your Excel or PowerPoint. Tell Me search box – Tell Me allows you to access desired command or option by typing its name into search box which is placed at the top of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. So you don’t have to wander around the interface and waste your time on searching for a particular command, all you have to do is to type the name of the command in the Tell Me box, and you will find the suggested action. Convert hand written equations to text – You’ll be able to hand-write any equation with your digital pen, finger, or mouse, and Office will convert your manuscript into digital format.
