Microsoft Company Store ends support for older browsers Starting with September 1 at 11 PM EST, to still be able to access the company store from a modern browser that will support the upcoming security upgrade. If you won’t update your browser, or if you don’t use a newer version, you won’t be able to access the online store anymore. The announcement doesn’t come from the Redmond giant but Microsoft Company Store’s hosting provider eCompanyStore....

Let’s start with the features recently added. The company’s aim is to make business intelligence and data visualization richer and more interactive so that users can find locations more easily and get a clearer picture of them at the same time. To counter the attacks, Microsoft is launching a new technology, Kernel Data Protection (KDP). How does Kernel Data Protection protect your OS? KPD uses virtualization-based security (VBS) to protect a part of the Windows Kernel and drivers against data corruption attacks, taking advantage of hardware virtualization features. Basically, VBS is creating and isolating a secure region of memory from Windows 10. This way, protecting the kernel memory as read-only will also protect the inbox components, security products, and third-party DRM drivers....

One good example is how they took into account a long-standing issue that has always sparked controversy: the balance between security and productivity. They argued that security teams focus on blocking capabilities and reducing access to limit risk, and users create workarounds or ignore policies to get their jobs done.
