Generally, Microsoft is retiring the old Edge in preference for an improved Chromium-based version. The new browser has a lot of features that are unique to it, including potentially unwanted apps (PUA) protection. But deep inside, it bears the DNA of Google’s Chromium engine. Windows 10 version 2004 does not support the old Edge Microsoft has published a list of features that it is no longer developing for different versions of the Windows OS....

It seems that with the latest Build 19043.928 the May 2021 Update can be considered final while the media for it can be accessed and downloaded easily. Right now, only the Insiders will gain access to the May 2021 update and it can be accessed in the Release Preview Channel. May 2021 Update Microsoft states that they will continue to work at improving the overall experience on PCs’: Insiders will simply have to access the Settings menu and choose to download and install the 21H1 update....

This announcement was made by Dona Sarkar, head of the Windows Insider Program. She added that the first devices to receive the update would be Windows 10 PCs and phones. Sarkar assures Windows 10 users they have nothing to worry about, as everybody will eventually receive the update. The Windows 10 Anniversary Update release is a global event, and Microsoft simply needs more time to push the update to all its Windows 10 users....

People simply don’t want to share personal information related to their location, the websites they visit, or what they type on their keyboards with Microsoft. The privacy concerns that users expressed about Windows 10 also drew the attention of the EFF. Although limited in functionality at the moment, it’s still cool to vocally shut down or restart your computer. There is also a fullscreen mode for Cortana, where new options are available. With the new Read & Write, Ebates and TrueKey extensions, Microsoft Edge is also getting some love this update....
