Microsoft chief Mr. Panay promised in March that the company would still release a Type-C dongle for Surface laptops. He did not confirm a launch date, but Mr. Panay stated that a Type-C dongle was still “on the roadmap for later this year.” In 2017, Mr. Panay also stated: Now Microsoft has confirmed the imminent launch of a USB-C dongle with the addition of a Surface Connect to USB-C Adapter to a Surface Pro page on its website (shown in the snapshot below)....
