This is probably Microsoft’s omission, because some social network apps, like Facebook, have sync option for People app, but when you try to sync them, simply nothing happens. This could very easily be done on purpose, because Microsoft maybe plans to shut down this app in the future. And since Microsoft already discontinued some of its own apps that weren’t so popular, we tend to believe in this theory even more. Also, when people complained about this on Microsoft forums, the staff simply answered that there are no social apps that support integration with People app, currently. They didn’t mention if there will be any updates or fixes for this in the future, which also indicates to the fact that Microsoft plans to shut this app down sooner or later. What do you think about this Microsoft’s policy of shutting down ‘not so popular’ apps? Did you use People app, and will you miss it if Microsoft decides to shut it down?
