Brief history of Phantom Dust project Phantom Dust began as a hobby of a few developers from Microsoft Studios. The whole project expanded when Shannon Loftis and Phil Spencer got involved. Loftis said during some old interviews that Phantom Dust on Xbox One would be a direct port of the original Xbox version and would include its 480p rendering. This attracted some harsh criticism from Xbox One owners who have considered this decision to be quite ridiculous. After a few weeks, Adam Isgreen said that the game would look better on Xbox One and after a while, Phil Spencer posted an image of Phantom Dust running at 1080p 30 FPS on an Xbox One S. It was quite clear that this wasn’t the 480p version promised by Loftis. Due to all these, the gamers have become confused and they’re currently wondering what’s happening with Phantom Dust’s graphics.

The answer is here

The answer didn’t wait too long in order to arrive. Isgreen said that “there’s a very good reason Shannon said what she did about original rendering, but it’s no longer true.” It seems that Microsoft was planning a release of the game at 480p when the company initially envisioned it, but at the moment it boasts an improved resolution. This explains Spencer’s screenshot of a 1080p 30 FPS graphics. Isgreen recorded an interview scheduled to be released next week that will probably bring more information regarding the game’s frame rate and resolution. But it’s a sure thing the game is not going to run at 480p and Xbox One users can breathe a sigh of release. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
