Several reports have popped up claiming the Surface Phone will come in three models, with each model sporting the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 CPU. Excitingly, the Surface Phone will likely be the first handset to sport this new processor. As for the three versions, the entry level version is expected to come with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. This is surprising because we’ve never heard of a smartphone with 3GB of RAM and the newest, most powerful processor deemed as entry level before. When it comes down to the mid-range  version of the Surface Phone line, this one could come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. This particular device is expected to compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy Note line of phablets when released. The high-end option will truly blow a lot of minds if it turns out to be solid. Apparently, this Surface Phone will launch with 8GB of RAM and 500GB of internal storage. We’ve come to understand that this device could have exclusive Windows 10 Mobile features. If such is the case, then the high-end Surface Phone will be targeting enterprise rather than the everyday consumer. Other reports coming out of China claims these devices could hit store shelves with a 20MP camera. Chinese leakers have also revealed a possible image of the Surface Phone with what appears to be a keyboard kickstand. It is highly unlikely that Microsoft will venture down this path, but if it does, then 2017 will be an exciting year for fans because the upgraded Xbox One is rumored for release that same year.
