The new builds don’t include any new features, as their main focus is sharpening the system before the official release of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Therefore, Insiders can only find certain bug fixes and system improvements in recent releases. However, even though the main purpose of these builds is to make the system better, there are some additional problems on top. Namely, one Insider recently said on Microsoft forums that he’s been experiencing black screen issues from build 16288: Unfortunately, nobody had a proper solution for this issue. Any suggestions of more logs to provide or solutions would be appreciated.” On the positive side, this is the most serious issue caused by recent Preview builds we’ve managed to find so far. This could mean Microsoft is on a good way to provide a stable major update to users. Something that hasn’t been exactly the case with previous major updates for Windows 10.
