The Robinhood web app has a history of outages. In March 2020, there was a system-wide Robinhood outage that impacted both the web and mobile apps. So, you shouldn’t be entirely surprised if the Robinhood website isn’t working because of a server issue of some kind. To check if Robinhood is down, open the Downdetector page for it.
