One of the upcoming features coming to Microsoft’s Skype is represented by a very promising tool. We’re talking about integrated translation support for Skype voice calls. This feature will supposedly be available for both mobile calls as well as landline connections. Versatility is key and with this feature, more people will be able to connect through Skype’s services. Socially active people often find themselves having loads of conversations open and it can get a bit confusing. A new Skype function will allow users to manage their conversations with marks such as “read/unread” making it way easier to keep track of everyone. A reoccurring issue with Skype a technology is that it is harder to include older generations into the equation, especially when talking about a communication app where people interact with each other digitally. That being said, it is not unheard of entire families gathering around a laptop to stay in touch with a relative studying abroad or similar scenarios where parents and grandparents are introduced to the benefits of modern day technology. For this reason, Skype is coming with new and improved ways to keep the family connected regardless of age gaps, such as more connectivity between Skype users and carrier users.
