A few days ago, the Lumia Spanish official Twitter account informed its followers that they’d soon be able to install Snapchat on their devices because it’s currently being developed. A few users were skeptical and didn’t believe the news but Dona Sarkar, chief of the Windows Insider program, confirmed that a Windows Phone version is indeed on the way. Even German site DeskModder used a discussion it has Microsoft Support as proof. “There are plans to make it available in the future, we’ll give updates when that’s close. But as of now, it is not actually yet at the store app,” said Microsoft Support, adding that “I can just say that it will be available soon. We are communicating still with the app developer to verify when we can add it in the store. But for now, there’s still no exact date.” However, we must warn you that neither Snapchat nor Microsoft’s officials have personally confirmed the news, so it’s safe to be skeptical about information related to unreleased Microsoft projects. It’s important to not get your hopes up and to take into consideration the possibility that Snapchat won’t come to Windows phones at all. So, at this moment, it’s better to wait for an official statement from one of the two companies in which they either confirm or deny the rumor. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
