You may need to check the battery or see if the power light comes on when connected to a power supply, otherwise try the solutions below.

FIX: Surface Book 2 not turning on

1. General troubleshooting

The first things to check for when your Surface Book 2 is not turning on is the battery and charging. Check also for any damage on the charging port, the power connector or power cord. Ensure the connections are secure and nothing is plugged in to the USB charging port on power supply. The Surface is designed to work best with power supply included. You can also do the following:

Switch to the Surface power connector. If your Surface has a USB-C port and you use it to charge the device, switch to the Surface power connector that came with your Surface to help it charge faster. Check the power connector light, if the LED light on the power connector is turned on or not. If the light is off you may need to replace your power supply. If the light is flashing, remove the power connector from your Surface and check again for damage or debris that could cause a bad connection. If the light continues to flash, replace the power supply.
