Update your Surface Laptop
Microsoft just released a brand new firmware update for the Surface Laptop. The update targets the Surface System Aggregator, and it brings improvements for the docking compatibility. The update will be downloaded and installed automatically, and you will find it listed in the Windows Update history named “Surface – Firmware – 135.2139.257.0”. Microsoft’s official notes state that there are no prerequisites for installing the update. All you have to do after installing it is to restart your machine, and you’re good to go. It’s also important to note that this update will not replace another previously released one.

You can also download the update manually. The update consists of more files that you can download from here. Once you hit the download button, you will be prompted to select the files that you need. The firmware and driver package consists of drivers for all of the components from the Surface Laptop and updates to the system firmware that have been released via Windows Update.
