One of Microsoft’s latest blog posts hinted at new Windows 10 devices that are scheduled to become available for educators really soon.
Microsoft’s new Windows 10 laptops for education
Microsoft doesn’t provide too many details about these latest devices, but it does make sure to say that the Lenovo 100e, a laptop that is powered by Intel Celeron Apollo Lake, will be priced at $189 in the US. On the other hand, the upgraded Lenovo 300s will sport a price tag of $279. The updated model will come in a 2-in-1 form, and it will also include pen support. JP’s Classmate Leap T303 laptop is also a part of this initiative that Microsoft has for education, and the device will integrate Windows Hello support, and it will be priced at $199. The Trigono V401 2-in-1 device will include a pen and touch, and it will be priced at $299.
More good news for educators
Microsoft made sure to deliver even more good news for educators, and this includes a Free Chemistry Update for Minecraft: Education Edition that is set to bring various improvements for existing users. Microsoft also revealed that there would be some improvements for the Mixed Reality as well. For instance, the education company Pearson will invest in headsets and the HoloLens.
