Chuwi is a very popular brand from China that sells affordable smartphones, tablets, laptops, mini-computers, and other consumer electronic products. Recently, it was reported that the company is working on a Chuwi Lapbook that will cost less than $300. The device is expected to sport an elegant look at just 9-20mm thick and a maximum weight of 1316 grams. Its 14.1-inch display will support a Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels), which delivers high-quality multimedia entertainment content. Inside, the laptop will run the seventh gen Intel Apollo Lake N3450 processor, which will be backed by Intel Gen 9 HD graphics and 4GB of RAM. Chuwi has opted for 64 GB eMMC ROM, which is enough for installing basic Windows 10 apps and storing images and music. What’s interesting about this laptop is that it will work on Google’s Android platform as well since it supports a dual-boot operating system. If you want to use Microsoft Office or to play a Windows 10 game, you’ll boot to Microsoft’s Windows. But, if you want to run an Android app, you know what to do. As for the battery, it’s huge — 9000mAh. This keeps the device alive for at least 6-8 hours on a single charge. In terms of connectivity, the LapBook will support 2.4GHz/5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi. Chuwi has announced that this laptop will be released by the end of the year.
