Here are the main features that Joe Belfiore is talking about:

Cortana – the release of a voice assistant on traditional Windows devices is indeed something ground-breaking. I am almost sure that this will make Windows 7 users to upgrade like mad. Universal apps – apps that run across phones, tablets PCs; this is what Microsoft is trying to achieve with its universal apps approach. And yeah, Office apps are here! Project Spartan –  everybody’s speaking about the new browser that Microsoft will reveal in Windows 10 and it makes a lot of sense. Internet Explorer has long been considered as a lousy browser, so Redmond wants to put an end to that! Gaming on Windows 10 – the Xbox experience is coming to Windows, as there’s an Xbox app available for free download. Also, you will be able to take your Xbox games to any PC – mindblowing!
