Introducing Microsoft’s PowerPoint Presentation Translator
The new Presentation Translator plugin for Powerpoint is a Microsoft Garage project that uses Microsoft’s Translation APIs to translate content from any Powerpoint presentation in 10 languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. The plugin is able to provide translated subtitles in real-time and can also translate the full text of a presentation while preserving its original formatting. Program Manager Yina Arenas presented an amazing demo of the program during Build 2017. One of the most interesting parts of the technology is its ability to share a unique link attendees can use in order to get translations in real-time. This can also be achieved on mobile devices. Register now to make sure you’re among the first testers The program can only be found available for early access on the Windows version of Powerpoint.
