We’re not a hundred percent sure what a 6D musical experience is, but Microsoft’s website advertises multiple camera views during its stream and even a free Windows 11 NFT.
Free NFT and musical event on Windows 11’s release
The Redmond tech company describes its Windows 11 NFT as a one-of-a-kind cryptographic token that lives in your digital wallet and unlocks valuable experiences and rewards. There’s also a big Times Square ad, some Windows 11-branded ice cream, and an absolutely wild light-up takeover of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and of course the live stream Microsoft is holding at 5 pm PST, until 8 pm PST. Microsoft’s streaming Elevenation, a 6D musical experience starring musicians Tate McRae and Allen Stone. And what 6D musical experience would be complete without an NFT? Yea, you heard correctly, Microsoft’s making an NFT to celebrate the launch of one of the most anticipated operating systems of all time. — Microsoft UAE (@MicrosoftUAE) October 4, 2021 The answer is: This 6D experience is simply a Livestream with multiple camera angles to choose from, so it’s still just a regular 3D concert you’ll be watching on a 2D screen. On the side of the screen, as you are watching the stream, after logging in or signing up, you can choose where you would like to redeem your NFT token, and earn the reward. After choosing the desired retailer, you have to wait for quite a while until you actually receive something. There is no exact wait timer, but we’ve been waiting ever since the stream started. Nobody knows exactly what surprises are in store for us, so we just have to stay tuned and find out together.
Update
We found out, as we are sure you did too, what the prize actually is. This NFT token awarded to all participants to the Livestream consists of a discount for Windows 11 compatible devices. So, in case you were planning to purchase a new laptop or tablet for running Microsoft’s latest operating system, here’s your chance to save some money.
