Fortunately, the We Happy Few team is generous in details and has recently published a new blog entry, keeping fans up to date with the latest elements and changes brought to the games. We’re more than happy to share the news with you. Compulsion Games has rewritten the diary entries, so that players can find out more about what is going on by reading Arthur’s journal. Some of the things he has written down in his diary may actually help you to solve your problems in the game. Some of them will fill you in on Arthur’s past. Take the time to read them, but do that only when you’re in a quiet, safe place. Otherwise, the locals will find out you’re not on Joy and they will lynch you. Another element that will reveal more information about the people of Wellington Wells are the letters they are writing to one another. It’s not sure who delivers them, but you should read them as well as some of them will warn you about things you’re going to run into. It appears that whoever delivers the letters is not on Joy, so you’re not alone. Or is this nothing but a concoction of the system to trap you?
Compulsion Games also decided to make small but powerful changes to increase the gore level of the game. The piñata scene in the intro involved a piñata rat being smashed by the locals. But things would have been too simple, so the team decided to have the locals hit a rat in a bag and create a blood explosion. All these details revealed by the Compulsion Games team hint to a fabulous game. We can’t wait to get our hands on it! RELATED STORIES YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT:
