As it stands right now, the Anniversary Update is motivating enterprise customers to switch to Windows 10. Here’s the thing: 64% of enterprise customers are planning to move to Windows 10 in 2016, something that could and will likely change. The vast number of features the Anniversary Update comes with should have pushed these companies to decide faster, but this is not the case. According to a recent survey by Adaptiva, 76% of companies in the enterprise market say the Anniversary Update has not given them a sense of urgency to upgrade to Windows 10. Interestingly enough, 65% of the respondents believe switching to Windows 10 is very challenging. However, early adopters appear to have confidence in the operating system and can’t wait to see what happens when it is deployed. Furthermore, 52% of the respondents plan to migrate 50% of their systems to Windows 10. Some good news for the enterprise: Windows 10 Pro does not require a complete reinstall of the operating system when switching to its Enterprise version. This used to be the case, but no longer.
