It was confirmed some time ago that the device would run Microsoft’s Windows 10 Mobile operating system. While that still stands, we now also have a release date for the Alcatel smartphone: November 10. Let’s take a look at what users can find in the Alcatel Idol 4S starting with the 10th of November. Display The device comes with a 5.5-inch screen that features Full HD AMOLED technology. The screen is protected by Dragontail Glass, which ensures it won’t break at the slightest drop. Specifications The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 2.15 GHz processing unit, coupled with 4 GB of RAM and another 64 GB that take care of the phone’s storage needs. If that’s not enough, the device also features support for microSD cards so you can go even further. All that needs a lot of juice to function proper, which Alcatel took care of by including a 3000 mAh battery. Features First off, we have the cameras with the Idol 4S sporting an 8 MP front camera that complements the 21 MP lens featured on the back. Another important feature is the Windows 10 operating system that comes with the hardware. Last but most certainly not least, we have what can be considered one of the phone’s top selling points in the form of a VR headset. The VR headset pairs with the Alcatel Idol 4S and allows users to access the phone’s virtual reality capabilities. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
