Windows 10’s Calculator becomes even smarter

It seems like the Windows Calculator will get graphing functionalities. This new feature will be available through the Group Policy. The new policy setting in Group Policy Editor will allow you to control whether the graphing functionality is available or not in the Windows Calculator app.

Graphing functionality is available by default

If you disable the policy setting, the feature won’t be available. On the other hand, if you enable it or simply don’t configure the setting, graphing functionality will be available by default. If you’re interested in this new feature but the Group Policy is a bit too complicated for you, we’ve written a nice piece on how to edit the Group Policy. Also, if you’re a Windows 10 Home edition user and you don’t have access to the Group Policy Editor, you can get it on your PC by following the simple steps in this useful guide. This new graphing functionality for the Windows Calculator app will come in handy for many Windows 10 users, especially those who use graph functions and examine intersection points on a daily basis. It’s worth noting that earlier this year Microsoft made the Windows Calculator app an open-source project available on GitHub and developers can actively contribute with new features.
