There’s nothing official yet, but…
The Creators Update doesn’t have an official release date yet. However, there have been bits of information let loose by various sources that, together, could offer more clues. While there still hasn’t been any official word from Microsoft regarding the update’s release date, fans and users have already started speculating about its release.
We might see the Creators Update sooner than expected
First up, Microsoft informed users that the Creators Update would be dropping in the early months of 2017. Since we’re in March, it’s safe to say we can expect its release shortly. Secondly, a few sources dropped the ball about the release month stating that it would be April. So, there’s a chance to see the patch drop in April which is in the first quarter of 2017 — but what else? Recent rumors suggest the Creators Update will arrive on the 11th of April, which puts launch day close to the present day. After waiting so long, fans will surely be able to wait for another month. It is worth noting that Microsoft’s Insider program has already offered Insiders the chance to test some new features present in the upcoming Redstone 3 update, the next upgrade after the Creators Update.
